Private interviews with the resident monk, Swami Medhasananda, are by appointment only.
The swami is most happy to discuss matters on spiritual practice and clarification of Hindu scriptures.

Swami Medhasananda: Joined the Ramakrishna Order of Monks, with headquarters in India, in 1974; served the Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira-- a reputed three year degree college for 12 years from 1980; appointed President of the Vedanta Society of in 1993; attended various national and international conferences.

Publications: Ascharyo Bakta (in Bengali) ; Varanasi at the Crossroads ( A comprehensive socio-cultural history of nineteenth century Benares--the traditional cultural and religious centre of India: more than 1000 pages; 2nd print ); Contributes articles to various magazines.
